a little cabin’s journey from a therapeutic dog swimspaw to a goldsmiths vibrant workshop fueled by heart & soul ♥

it all began with the story of bear bear and a swimspaw built for him

this wild life of smithing started late in my adult life, I lit my first torch and hammered out metal at our run down barn in 2006, great conversations with rats and raccoons were had! about four years after this barn gig, i set up shop in our home garage, cozier and certainly warmer. and many wonderful years after this, here I am in my sanctuary quenched by bear bears aura and built by Bilic’s passion (my husband)

this unique space was transformed from our boy’s therapeutic swimSPAW to my goldsmithing workshop by Bilic’s encouragement, while i had a challenging time retiring his spaw after he passed, i vowed to keep his place genuine where i felt comfortable knowing that with each piece I forge i become a stronger goldsmith and never losing that spice for life, just as bear bear never did x

this space is ignited by his powerful stoic strength, each piece born here is enveloped with an essence of true unconditional love and loyalty ♥

building new beginnings with our girl xo

it’s been a delightful couple of years since my goldsmithing studio was unveiled, I’ve had the pleasure to share this space with students as i guide them through this delicate art of forging, bringing much joy to their hearts

my quiet world took a pivotal moment last year as my hand forged jewellery landed in SOHO NYC, thrusting me into the fashion industry and making a breeze into the pages of magazines and press releases

and while i have stayed in the true authentic form of goldsmithing by keeping it traditional with old world techniques; only recently i introduced a line of organic inspired jewellery created by harvesting buds from our trees, succulents and flowers - building versions of them in sterling and gold. its mesmerizing to capture the nature of organic castings as they vary from bud to bud, which makes each one perfectly imperfect making them sincerely one of a kind jewellery

its a pleasure to have mother natures offerings in my hands, i treat her with respect when I immortalize her babies in precious metal
